Forex Trading Course for Beginners in India: An Easy 5-Level Roadmap (2026)

Written by Dinesh Verma, Founder of MonarkFX. Trading Indian, forex and crypto markets since 2021 and teaching price action and demand-supply to retail traders in West Delhi and online.

A good forex trading course for beginners should leave you with three things: the ability to read a chart on your own, a set of risk rules you actually follow, and a record of trades that shows you’re improving. If a course can’t give you those three, it doesn’t matter how many certificates or bonus videos come with it.

This page lays out the learning roadmap we follow in the MonarkFX forex trading course, so you can see exactly what you’d study, in what order, and why. Even if you don’t join us, use it to compare any other forex trading course you are considering.

Why Risk Comes Before Strategy in Our Course

Most beginners want the “best strategy” first. I understand why. But in my experience the traders who last are the ones who learn to lose small. A student who risks 1% per trade can be wrong ten times in a row and still have 90% of their capital. A student who risks 10% would be down by about two-thirds after the same streak. That is why risk management sits in the middle of our forex trading course, not as a short chapter at the end.

What a Forex Trading Course Cannot Do

  • It cannot guarantee profits. No course can.
  • It cannot replace your own practice. Watching classes is not the same as trading.
  • It cannot remove all risk. Currency trading carries real risk of loss.

I say this on every demo call because I’d rather lose a student than set the wrong expectation.

How to Compare Any Forex Trading Course

  1. Is the syllabus written and in a clear order?
  2. Is the mentor named, and do they trade?
  3. Is there a compulsory demo phase?
  4. Does it teach only legal, SEBI-regulated forex?
  5. Are fees and refund terms in writing?

Our detailed checklist on evaluating a forex trading institute goes deeper into each point. If you are deciding between online and offline, read our guide to choosing a forex school online.

Not Ready for a Course Yet?

That’s fine. Start with the free basics in our forex trading for beginners guide, check the legal side in forex trading in India, and follow the self-study plan in how to learn forex trading. When you want feedback on your trades, a course makes more sense.

Book a Free Demo Class

The best way to judge any forex trading course is to sit in one class. Book a free demo class at our West Delhi centre or online, ask your questions, and decide without any pressure. Before trading live anywhere, check your broker on the SEBI website and make sure the platform is not on the RBI Alert List.

Advanced Chart Concepts: SMC, ICT and Liquidity

Currency pairs like USD/INR and EUR/USD respect liquidity and order flow just like stocks. Once the basics are in place, our forex students also learn:

  • Support and resistance and demand and supply zones as the base
  • Liquidity: equal highs and lows, stop loss clusters and liquidity sweeps
  • Smart Money Concepts (SMC): break of structure (BOS), change of character (CHoCH), order blocks and fair value gaps
  • ICT ideas: premium and discount areas and session timing
  • RSI divergence as confirmation at key zones, never as a standalone signal

These ideas are added in a fixed order so they sharpen your reading instead of cluttering the chart. Read more in our demand and supply trading course guide.
